Tablet Decision

In conjunction of the launch of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, I suddenly have the urge to get myself one new tablet.

Recently I found out that I need a tablet badly to jot down some notes.

Especially to make some sketches and do some side notes.

Previously I planned to buy HTC Flyer.

But the screen is too small, which is only 7inch and only single core with 1.5ghz without Tegra2.

The price isn't too tempting too, RM2299. Considered quite expensive for me for these specs.

Tomorrow, Celcom will start selling Galaxy Tab 10.1 with specific plans.

Lucky few purchaser will be selected to purchase the tablet for RM99 only with Celcom package.

Galaxy Tab 10.1

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 RRP is only RM1899 which is considered very cheap.

The specs are quite awesome.

1GHz dual-core, Nvidia Tegra2. (Too bad it's only 1GHz)

1GB RAM. (I was expecting 1.5GB RAM but since it's only RM1899, what can you expect? ^^)

7000mAh battery. (Nice ^^)

Flash 10.2

HD Recording 720p (Love this as always ^^)

3MP Rear Camera with LED Flash. (Wouldn't mind bout this since I wouldn't use such a big gadget to snap photos)

2MP Front facing Camera. (+1)

1080p HD video playback 30fps.

Running on Honeycomb. (This is what I wanna try most. Hehe.)

Currently I'm still struggling if I should buy this gadget or not.

I have been always wanted a bigger touch screen device to jot down some important notes and sketches on the go.

Or shall I wait for new tablet to be out in market?

Such as quad core Tegra3 tablet?

Can anyone give me advises on this issue? O.o

Public Holiday

Today is public holiday and yet I'm still stuck inside office doing designs.

Parking lot.

This parking lot usually full of cars when I arrive.
But today... Only one car there.. =.=
My working mood completely vanished into the air.......
While I'm working inside the office, one of my colleague already flew to HongKong for trip.
Awwwwwww....
I would love to go on a trip with my beloved one too. T_T

Next coming holiday will be National Day and Hari Raya.
But by that time I already ended my internship.
No different at all.
Wish to go for a trip with my lovely SumYee very much. ^^

New Day

After yesterday's night which is said to be the most haunted night of 2011 Hungry Ghost Festival, today turn out to be a very nice day.

The weather is completely different than the previous few days.

Blue Sky I saw during breakfast.

The weather brighten up my start off day. ^^

Good weather good mood.

But it's a pity I have to stuck inside an office with only 2 windows, one close one open.

Worst thing is that I have to face the computer yet again the whole day.

Day after day I can felt that my brain is getting numb and running out of juice.

It's kinda waste to stuck inside an office with such a nice weather.

Haih.....

Worst thing today is my designs being rejected.

Not only one design. But SEVEN designs!!!!

I was like WTF??????????? =.=

Nah!!! o0o

I become super duper ultimately moody after my designs being rejected. =.=

For the next four hours until off from work I couldn't come up with any new designs with my mood.

I thought my designs will be accepted for sure as all my colleagues said my designs nice.

But the boss with one word, "NO" and all my designs went straight into longkang.

I get my butt off from office once the clock struck 6.00pm.

Manage to capture a quite nice photo before I returned home where my grandma had prepared a delicious chicken meal for tonight dinner.

Hungry Ghost Festival Part 2

Tonight is the day mentioned by all Chinese believers that will be the most haunted night during Hungry Ghost Festival this year. (Sorry for my bad English. U understand what I wrote then ok la~ XD)

Eventhough I didn't encounter any "thing", I somehow can felt some uneasy feeling whole day.
In addition, the weather had made the day felt gloomy and creepy.

I was told not to capture any picture during night but I did snapped one photo after dinner just now.
Chinese believed that snapping pictures during night might have the possibility to snap those "thing" in photo as well.
Thus, a lot of elderly will warn the young one not to snap pictures during night.
In addition, today is the most haunted night of Hungry Ghost Festival. Thus, elderly will even much more worry bout the young ones.
Being young ones, we have responsibility to take care of our elderly and we shouldn't make them worry.
So, ladies and gentlemen.
Please take care and it is advisable not to go out during night now.
Staying at home for one night wouldn't make you lose much.
Care for our elderly and respect them. ^^

Some beliefs of Chinese I would like to share.
During this festival, it is advisable not to wear red and black during night.
Make sure do not hide your forehead with your hair.
Do not comb your hair in front of mirror during 12am midnight.
Do not carry an umbrella during night if possible as those "thing" might follow you back home in the umbrella.
Many more but I couldn't remember.

Hungry Ghost Festival

Today is the well known Hungry Ghost Festival for the Chinese.
It is believed that the hell gate is opened and the souls of ancestors will wander back to their relatives to have a visit.

There's a belief said that by giving offering the souls, it will bring good fortune and luck to you.
It also symbolize our respects to our past ancestors by giving offerings.

This year, 2011, on 16th of August, Monday, the Hungry Ghost Festival is said to be most dangerous to go out to the street.
There's a big chance that you might met one of them.
So, it will be best to go home earlier that day to avoid any misfortune.
To my fellow friends, please take care of yourselves on that day.
